Design details

Are they warm enough for winter?
The combination of the insulating insole and padded upper provide effective comfort in the cold. First tested in the laboratory and then in the field with a variety of users, the comfort temperature of our boots varies from -8°C when stationary to -17°C when on the move.
Do they protect your feet in all conditions?
To protect you from the cold, snow, and rain, our boots have a thin waterproof membrane that keeps your feet dry while allowing them to breathe. In addition, the midsole insulates from contact with the snow.
What is thermal comfort?
The thermal comfort of your boots keeps your feet warm while maintaining air circulation to prevent build-up of moisture. Designed for regular use, their waterproof membrane wicks away moisture while keeping water out.
Are they 100% waterproof?
We made sure that your boots are waterproof with tests carried out in the lab simulating walking half-immersed in water and wear in the field.
Traction, grip, or both? What’s the difference?
For grip, think of the crampons on the boots as claws that grip the ground when climbing. For traction, the grooves under the soles act like car tires, keeping you stable on slippery ground! With these boots, you can tackle winter terrain like a pro!
What does SnowContact technology offer?
The combination of non-slip components and the specific design of the lugs ensure grip and traction in snow. The lugs are positioned and precisely designed to grip the snow and push away water. For use on ice, add non-slip grips.
How durable are they?
Our engineers carry out tests to make sure our products go the distance! These tests ensure: strap strength, with checks for adhesives, UV resistance, abrasion, and endurance. Products are thoroughly testes to ensure complete satisfaction
What to wear for a hike in the snow
Winter outfitting tips: - Wool socks for maximum warmth - Breathable socks to keep your feet dry - Socks suited to the height of the upper (mid-height or high)
How to maintain the waterproofing
Think of your waterproof boots as a shield against water. Their water-repellent properties make them waterproof, breathable, and lightweight. However, the waterproofing treatment needs to be reapplied to remain effective. All you need to do to refresh the material is to give it a quick spray.
How do I dry the inside of my boots?
To effectively dry the inside of your damp boots, remove the insole, use newspaper to absorb moisture, and change it regularly. Avoid direct heat sources that might damage the material and dry them in a warm, dry, and ventilated place.
