Suitability:

We recommend cleaning your saddle pads regularly. A dirty saddle pad can irritate the horse's skin. We recommend brushing off any hair after each use. All Fouganza saddle pads are machine washable at 30°C. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.

Our Synthia saddle is made of Lorica®, a synthetic material that’s waterproof, breathable, and tougher than leather. Lorica® is ideal for saddles, as it resists abrasion and doesn’t cause the horse to overheat.

All horses are different, so our 500 Jump boots have been designed to adapt to all body shapes. Thanks to the synthetic foam on the inside and the adjustable rip-tab system, the protection fits snugly but comfortably around the horse's limb.

For all horses:

Have you galloped through wet sand? We recommend leaving them to dry, then brushing them, focusing on the areas in contact with your horse's legs. If any dirt is left behind, a moist sponge should remove the rest.

Step 1: clean your leathers with glycerin soap and a sponge. Leave to dry. Step 2: (essential for dry, cracked or new leather. Not recommended for leather that is already soft). Apply oil using a cloth, paying particular attention to the underside of the leather. Leave to seep in. STEP 3: For all types of leather: Apply grease using a cloth, leave to seep in, then buff to a bright shine. Recommended once per month.

Tips before first use or to restore leathers

Oil new leather using plant-based neatsfoot-type oil after every use. Clean regularly using glycerin soap. Moisturize regularly using leather milk. Nourish using dubbin or leather balm.

Your choice of noseband should be adapted to the shape of the horse and their level of training. The noseband should never be too tight, as the horse should be able to mouth the bit in order to work relaxed.
