How to choose your trail poles
To choose the right size for your trail running poles, your elbows must be at a right angle when holding the poles: - Runner height from 155 cm (61") to 170 cm (67") = 110 cm (43 ¼") poles - Runner height from 171 (67") to 181 cm (71 ¼") = 120 cm (47 ¼") poles - Runner height taller than 182 cm (71 ½") = 130 cm (51") poles

When it comes to poles for trail runners, it’s important that they can be quickly stored and unfolded. That’s why we designed these very lightweight poles (282 g/10 oz. per pair). And so that they do not hinder you when racing, the 110 cm (43 ¼") poles are 37 cm (14 ½) long when folded (40 cm [15 ¾"] in the 120 cm [47 ¼"] size and 43 cm [17"] in the 130 cm [51"] size). Descend without a care in the world!

The purpose of trail running poles is to help you save energy and provide balance, stability, and safety during challenging climbs. They also act as stabilizers and shock absorbers, helping you slow down when descending.

First, our poles are lab-tested for durability. They were then tested in real-life trail running conditions. We used the results to produce these ultralight and compact trail running poles that are very quick to fold and unfold: less than 2 seconds to unfold and less than 3 seconds to fold up!
A comfortable handle that suits every grip.
The poles’ grips are made from highly resistant, durable, and very comfortable EVA foam. The size of the handle has been designed to fit every grip. We made it longer so trail runners can comfortably grip low or high. After all, everyone has their own style!
What techniques do you use when running with poles?
Using poles when running is a relatively technical exercise that requires some practice. For beginner trail runners, poles are likely to have the reverse effect and waste energy. There are 2 ways of using trail running poles, depending on whether you are going downhill or uphill: simultaneous or alternating. Which one you choose will depend on the gradient of the slope and the space available for using the poles:
Simultaneous push-off technique when running with trail running poles:
The simultaneous push-off technique is very useful on steep slopes as it helps relieve pressure on your thighs by hauling your body up with your arms or when descending to hold yourself back and give your legs a rest. You can take several strides each time before your poles touch the ground. Try leaning forward and driving your poles into the ground.
How to run with alternating trail poles
The alternating technique is more suitable when there is less space available and the slope is moderate. This technique requires less power and involves alternating your right and left leg. The opposite arm plants the pole in front, while the other arm is behind you and in the air. In this case, it’s best not to drive the pole too hard into the ground to maintain a better rhythm. Try and take smaller steps for this technique to become more natural.
Composition and repairability of the trail running poles:
The tube construction is ultralight: 60% carbon fibre and 40% resin (to hold the fibres). The handle is composed of 100% EVA foam and the wrist strap of 100% polyester webbing. The tungsten carbide tip and can be unscrewed and replaced.
Maintenance tips
These poles need to be adequately maintained to ensure that they work properly and have a long lifespan. Make sure to dry your poles after use. Clean off any dust or mud with water, using a soft brush or paintbrush once dry. Store your dry trail running poles in the bag provided and keep in a dry, dark, and well-ventilated room.
