Solid beginner kettlebells

Bought this as my first KB. Initial impression is good, well made, slightly rough finish (but I found this helped build grip and toughen my hands up). However, it is only after Kettlebell training for a while that you realise not all Kettlebells are equal and that the handle

on these is flawed. What I mean by this is that when in the 'clean' racked position, the weight of the base is resting directly on the bone of the wrist just below your hand. Over time this becomes uncomfortable and you miss training days to let the bruising and occasionally swollen wrist go down. Having said that, I have got a lot out of using this bell. Swings have improved massively and it does look great. I now use it for warm up exercises, but for my main workouts I use 'competition bells' from wolverson. More expensive but quality and the ergonomics make it worthwhile.
