Cheap zippers, inconsistent sizes

I have always hated these smaller zippers with moulded tiny plastic pull tab. They are a pain even without gloves. The what’s worse is that Decathlon have swapped the old trustworthy YKK for the cheaper Chinese SBS. Sacrificing quality for cost. And it’s not just the build q
uality. There are three zippers on this gilet. The front one is black, the chest pocket is gunmetal, the back pocket is blue. Each with a different style of pull tab!! But all flimsy, cheap, and guaranteed to break in no time. It’s like they randomly pulled three out of a bucket. The fit is the as everything-Decathlon: undersized. So no surprises there. Always alway always go one size up. Always. I wear a medium with almost all other brands. Large if it’s Decathlon. The awful zipper is the only thing that can and 100% will go wrong with this gilet. I would bet my last penny on it. If you can live with that, this is otherwise descent enough product. It’s a nice shade of blue and the fabric is stretchy enough for XC skiing, hiking, and even running.

Je ne pratique pas le ski de fond. J'ai acheté ce gilet sans manches pour la pratique du vélo sur route, il est TOP, le col est bien montant, il est beau et efficace. Cerise sur le gâteau, acheté 20 euros en solde ! 👍
