It's slim-fitting, but doesn't sit too close to the body, so we recommend that you wear a technical base layer underneath this fleece jacket. That way, you’ll be better protected from the cold. Pick your usual size.

The fleece component is designed to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (known as “brushed fleece” when lots of tiny loops are knit into the fabric). This air acts as a natural insulator to keep the body warm. 

Insulation from the cold

This fleece jacket was designed and tested for cold temperatures between 7°C and 10°C, with no other layer worn over it. 

Warmth level

We conduct two types of thermal testing: on the fleece material and with a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber.
These tests reproduce typical mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature). They allow us to validate our design and adjust the thermal insulation.

How is warmth measured?

It is inevitable that you will sweat when hiking, even in cold weather. To avoid feeling like you’re in a sauna, we have opted for a breathable fabric that wicks away perspiration. The full-length zip enables you to open the jacket for extra ventilation.

A breathable fleece

At just 480 g in size M, this jacket certainly doesn’t weigh your bag down! The thin microfleece doesn't take up much space.

A practical, lightweight jacket

We perform rigorous tests to guarantee the durability of our products. We ensure fabrics’ resistance to:
- pilling;
- fading; 
- repeated washing;
- abrasion and friction (Martindale test).

A durable fleece jacket

This fleece jacket is machine washable at 30°C. Turn it inside out before washing. Wash with zippers closed. Choose a synthetics cycle and choose a maximum spin speed of 1,000 RPM. Do not tumble dry.
