Extra cool and dark
Cooler and darker for a better night’s sleep in your 2-person tent! The patented Fresh & Black technology developed by Decathlon helps the fabric reflect the sun’s rays and keep out the light thanks to its special materials. In this way, your tent stays cooler and darker. To make the most of this technology, remember to ventilate your tent at night!
Ventilation 2/2
To open the side ventilation panels, simply unzip the first fabric panel then a second mosquito net to access the side ventilation system. To open the rear ventilation, just open the red zipper, remove the rear hook, then close the zipper to protect the inside of the tent from insects. Then pull on the 2 cords to open the rear ventilation.
Waterproof rating
The 2 Seconds Fresh & Black tent has been tested in the lab and in the field to validate its waterproofing. The whole tent was placed under a shower producing 200 litres of water per hour for 3 hours. This exposure is equivalent to a tropical rain shower of 200 mm per hour. The flysheet is made of 2,000 mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester. The groundsheet is made of 120 g/m² polyethylene. All of the seams are sealed with thermobonded tape.
What type of mattress is compatible with this tent?
For your comfort, we recommend using a self-inflating mattress or trekking mattress of a maximum width of 60 cm (23.6 in) with this tent. We do not recommend inflatable mattresses that are more than 6 cm (2.5 in) thick in this tent. This greatly reduces the volume inside the tent and increases condensation.
Tent set up and take down
Like all tents in this range, the 2 Seconds 2-Person tent is quick and easy to pitch. Simply remove the tent from the cover, take off the yellow strap, and the tent starts opening straight away. Remove the buckles (2 blue and 2 red). Then all you have to do is put the pegs in properly. This tent is easy to fold up thanks to its guide system.
Ventilation 1/2
For this new 2 Seconds Fresh&Black 2-person model, we have worked on our side and rear vents to make them as easy to open as our 2 Seconds tent. Thanks to this work, we have equipped this model with 2 new patented ventilations (2 side and 1 rear).
Tent warranty
This tent was designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during camping trips and outdoor excursions. Constant exposure to UV light for several weeks may damage the textile components of the tent. These products are not patio furniture and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To maximize the useful life of your tent, make sure you store it properly when not in use. 5-year warranty.
Repairable
Our tents are great for camping at night. Over time, the tent will age and some parts may wear out or break. To make it easier to repair, each part (poles, flysheet, bedroom etc.) can be purchased from our stores. They can be replaced in our workshops or you can do it yourself. Don’t throw it away, repair it!

Wind resistance
The 2 Seconds tent has been tested in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each of its sides. A properly pitched tent with all guy lines fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 50 km/h near the ground (force 6).
