Super Powerful: Maxi 900 lumens power to give a bright daylight-type light up to 30 metres in front of your feet. Reparability: Interchangeable battery sold separately for longer battery life. Practical: Remote button worn on the shoulder directs the light beam when you change mode.
Light modes and battery life
The 900 USB running light has 3 lighting modes: > Maximum power of 900 lumens to avoid overheating, this power will gradually decrease to 350 lumens after 2.5 hours. > In the second mode of 300 lumens, the battery life increases to 3.5 hours without losing power (constant current).
Directable Beam
The light beam can be adjusted vertically at the front to adapt to the runner’s needs both uphill and downhill. What’s more, the little “cap” protects the runner from the glare of the front light beam.
Battery Life
As with all Kiprun lights, we have added a safety mode. When the battery is low, the power is automatically reduced to 100 lumens. This gives you approximately one hour to find another lighting solution. Continuous flashing will alert you to the situation. Extra battery sold separately. You can also change your battery, thus lengthening your run time. Weight of the battery on its own: 75 g (2.6 oz).
Charge Level
When you switch on the light, the 4 red LED lights on the battery at the back indicate your charge level for 5 seconds before flashing to indicate your presence. When you recharge the battery, these 4 LEDS continue to indicate your charge level as you run.
Battery Type
Lithium-ion 3500 mAh rechargeable battery recharges via micro-USB cable (supplied). Recharging time is around 4 hours.
Glare
Warning: This product may emit dangerous optic rays. Do not look directly into the light when it is turned on. This may be harmful to eyes.
Life Cycle
The 900 USB running light battery keeps maximum efficiency for 500 charge cycles. To preserve this life cycle, do not leave the battery inactive for more than 6 months. In the event of prolonged storage, remember to discharge and recharge the battery completely before using again.
