Advanced surfer
You surf on a regular basis. During your sessions, you paddle out to the lineup and feel comfortable duck diving or turtle rolling under waves. You ride waves over 1 m high and can do tricks. You can handle currents and frequent falls. It’s important for your swimwear to stay in place and let you move freely in the water.
Body type
We created this bikini bottom so that girls can surf without worrying about losing their swimsuits in the waves. With their sporty look, they provide ideal coverage and the drawstring gives a perfect fit in the waves.
Stays in place in the waves
Our swimsuits are designed to stay in place in the waves. Our suits are tested by a panel of female surfers with different body types. They’re first tested in a pool under simulated surfing conditions, then worn during real sessions in the ocean.
Girls' swimsuit sizes
At Decathlon, we design swimsuits for young surfers based on growth. For this reason, a child’s size is typically associated with their height, not their age. In fact, two kids of the same age can have completely different measurements. We also recommend trying the swimsuits on if possible.
Girls’ swimsuit sizes
Here is the size guide for our girls’ swimsuits: 4/5 years: 105 to 114 cm (3'5" to 3'9") 5/6 years: 115 to 124 cm (3'9" to 4'1") 7/8 years: 125 to 132 cm (4'1" to 4'4") 8/9 years: 133 to 142 cm (4'4" to 4'8") 10/11 years: 143 to 150 cm (4'8" to 4'11") 12/13 years: 151 to 160 cm (4'11" to 5'3") 14/15 years: 161 to 169 cm (5'3" to 5'7")
Dry sizing and wet sizing
Swimsuits become looser when wet, so it’s important to choose the correct size. Your swimsuit should fit snugly when you try it on in the fitting room. Keep in mind that the elastane in some of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
Do you want to exchange your swimsuit?
Are you unhappy with the size or style? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the tag in case you want to exchange it.
