The shoes look great, feel great when I first wore them. I followed all the precautions as a runner. Broke into them on the treadmill, then slowly on padded tracks. The moment I graduated to road, my IT band got injured. I've never had any problems before but these shoes a
re incredibly spongy. The sponge is soft and to provide the 'comfort' and softness, doesn't provide any return leading to a lot of stress on the knee and ankle. Im sure there are other factors involved but the shoes played a part too.

light weight is the best factor. wide sole gives very good stability. despite the softness claim, I didn't feel the extra softness over the conventional firmer foam sole. rather thick and over sized sole made the shoe funny looking.
