Use temperature

All our sleeping bags display the comfort temperatures tested by an independent laboratory, according to European standard ISO 23537-1. The comfort temperature is the lower limit at which the user is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (for an average person in normal conditions). Use this rating to choose the sleeping bag that’s right for you.

Our commitment to reduce water consumption

We have reduced this product’s environmental impact by using the dope-dyeing process to colour the fabric. Textile dyeing requires a lot of water and produces wastewater from the dye baths. We use a bulk dyeing process that involves adding the colour pigments when the thread itself is produced to reduce the environmental impact.

What you need to know about temperature

A sleeping bag does not produce heat but rather retains the heat produced by the body. If you’re chilled when you slip into a cold, damp sleeping bag, it’s very likely that you’ll feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! These temperature ratings therefore depend on the user’s resistance to cold, the equipment used, their clothing, and the weather conditions.

Tips before getting into your bag

Dress simply (just one layer of clothing is enough). Warm up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand and feet warmers, friction, etc. A well-sealed container of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle. Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat), but without making any movements that would create a draft.
You can use a sleeping bag liner so you won’t have to wash your sleeping bag as often.

Washing your sleeping bag

Use a washing machine with a capacity of at least 7 kg and properly close the zippers before washing.
