Pump seems efficient enough and pumps quickly, however the gauge is useless as moves all over the place. For the kayak I need 1.5psi to inflate. On this gauge it could be anywhere from 1 to 2.5psi or even another figure entirely. Just go by guesswork but don't overinflate too
much.

Definitely happy with this purchase but not sure if I’ve used it correctly or if it has a design flaw. The pump was purchased with the Itiwit 3 man kayak. The kayak has three valves with a rubber diaphragm which prevents blow back. Pretty standard. Now I could be wrong
but while pumping the valve opens and then closes to prevent blowback which means you’ll only be able to get a rough reading of pressure inside the vessel. There needs to be an attachment which holds the diaphragm open while pumping otherwise this pump is pretty useless for accurate readings.
