Overpriced still excellent product
Shifted from the round handles to these Ergo ones and the difference literally is mind blowing.
I've a MyBike hybrid single speed, but with the relaxed approach of these handles, I've completed two 100kms in one go in last 2 months!!!

Good and firm rubber to hold. It is good for long distance ride. Hands feel comfortable.
It’s good with grip & comfort
Seems like someone returned the product and it came to me. Grips were both overly greasy on the outside and not to the insides.
Its an average product. Ergonomic is good.
good product
Great product - worth every rupee
These came stock on my Riverside 500 bike, and first caused bad wrist-joint pain (due to slipping to a bad angle) because of which I could not cycle for 3 days and then later lot of pain upon pressing in the thenar region of palm (just below thumb) . These pains scared me and I changed to their Sport 900 grips , as they were affecting me in school when I was not riding the bike also.
Maybe these are okay for you if you cycle occasionally and very short distances say to buy groceries or commute to work/school. Even then, save a bit of money and go for ones that don't have these 'wing' profiles.
The lesser problem is the shape - the wing profile could certainly be bit more discreet and more gradually sloped for better ergonomics, and indeed most premium brands too offer grips like these but with slightly smaller wing-profiles.
In my honest opinion it just juts out a bit too much and a bit too suddenly to suit most hands, and certainly I found it to be too large and sudden , even though i wear M size Decathlon gloves and hence have average to slightly-above-average hands.
The bigger problem is that the lack of lock-on / screw-on ability , combined with such large wings, creates l leverage that easily causes the grips to SLIDE DOWN in the middle of descents, climbs and even flats at any slight acceleration. Perhaps reducing the wing-size will help reduce this, but ultimately it will still have some leverage and will definitely slide unless lock-on mechanism is provided.
Because of the wings , sliding, if unnoticed and uncorrected, can cause wrist injuries and pains that last for days, for me just one 1hr ride led to 3 days of pain.
To other prospective buyers, if you cycle less then I recommend the other normal, round, slip-on grips which they call "Comfort 500 Sport Grips" which are Rs. 300 cheaper.
If you ride a lot then I seriously suggest going for the brilliant "900 Sport Comfort " grips , these are Rs. 500 more expensive but VERY GOOD , and even come with lock-on capability.
My feedback to decathlon would be to consider redesigning it with smaller wing profile and , if budget permits, lock on provision. If not maybe a different rubber compound may have tighter grip on the bars.
Good one.
