Smartphone metal cycling mount

Feel very safe with this

Certainly holds my phone which is in a case well. I wouldn’t use it without a case personally. When there’s no phone in the Mount it does rattle unless it’s closed fully.

Easy to instal and very secure for holding phone in place

The holder build quality is good! I do have very similar one and it is serve very well, very steady and clamp phone such as you can only break it in half to get out. I decided to have second one and bought this for another bike. However it turns out that four pins clamping the

phone is too short. They are almost twice shorter then similar holder I possess. Result is phone is not securely hold. I clamp phone reasonable tight (almost close to break it) but always it was possible to drag phone out of clamps with force. I decided that on bumpy road it eventually will fall out. Thus return it back. It may hold some very thin phones without protection but I'd like to clamp phone in some cover.

Works well

My handlebars gradually reduce in width so I needed to put a piece of inner tube between the clamp and the handle bar. So far so good.

I fitted one of these, purchased in Germany, to the bars of my Harley Davidson in June. It holds my smartphone securely, with no problems due to the normal vibration attributed to a Harley. I have ridden on a mixture of roads including at the speed limit on motorways and rough

rural roads with no problems. Easy to fit and adjust and looks good too.

Easy to install and remove.

I have just fitted this to a Brompton with M type handlebars; took about five minutes and is a very solid phone mount. I put some black tape round the bar first, just in case the inserts scratch it over time. The phone sits at a very slight angle, due to the limited space on t

he bars, but the mount doesn't interfere with the fold in any way. If you store your bike in a tight space then just be aware it will stick out by a few centimetres but it's easy to remove if necessary.

My friend has one of these and swears by it. I immediately went to decathlon to buy the same product. Got home and to my disappointment realised it is missing a screw and so it's useless! Very sad.
