Advice from our team

Here's our advice for the best results on your chain/drive train: Apply the degreaser with a paintbrush or your chain cleaner.
Scrub hard-to-reach spots with a brush (drive train rollers, cassettes).
Leave for a few seconds before rinsing with water until all residue and black marks disappear. Then dry the chain and drivetrain with a dry cloth or compressed air.
You can then lubricate the parts.

TIPS

Prevent any contact with your disc brakes or brake pads.
Protect them with a clean cloth.

I have used Decathlon's own brand previously and didn't find it very good, but the new formula is in a league of its own. One cleaned and shiny chain is one a short step away. Highly recommended

Nice clean chain

Used this with the Decathlon bike chain degreaser tool and my chain came out nice and clean.
I’ve got a few bikes but use 3 very regularly and I wax my chains and that means they need to be stripped clean.
Waxing a chain means even a new chain must be stripped and clean and this worked.

I've used a number of degreaser / chain cleaners and none as cost effective as thjs.

Super effective especially when used with the chain/brush tool. Key is to rinse very well and let it dry before re-applying chain lube. Found that this needs a solid rinse and if possible a quick wash with soap before re-applying lube. First couple of times I used there may be some residual in the links and makes a mess with lube...
