What is water repellency and how can you maintain it?
Water repellency is a fabric’s capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed. It prevents the fabric from soaking up water, keeping it lightweight, warm, and breathable. Water repellency is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. The garment should be retreated over its lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) designed specifically for this purpose are available in our stores.
Are my pants warm enough for winter hikes?
The inside fabric is brushed, a tried and tested method for retaining heat. The principle is simple: the fabric’s weave structure adds volume to trap air, which is naturally insulating. It is exactly the same principle as animal fur or feathers.
Good ventilation for optimal thermal comfort.
Thermal comfort refers to the balance between the garment’s warmth and its breathability. If moisture accumulates, you will feel the cold in less active phases. These pants were designed with intense activity in mind by integrating a ventilation system with side zippers at the thighs in micro-perforated fabric. Good balance of warmth/ventilation for optimal comfort.
Comfortable and practical snow hiking pants.
Their slim fit and stretchy fabric provide freedom of movement, which is essential when hiking on snow. The zipped pockets keep everything you need safely within reach.
How do my pants protect me from outdoor conditions?
In winter, protection from both moisture (snow, rain) and wind is important, because the latter can significantly cool the body when moving or at rest. The windproof and water-repellent outer fabric was designed to handle all winter conditions. We also added water-resistant panels to the seat and lower legs.
Gaiters with a lace-up fastening system prevent snow from entering.
Perfect for your cold-weather hikes.

How to dress properly for hiking in the snow
Whatever your cold-weather activity, use the three-layer principle:
Layer 1: A high-tech base layer to wick moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.
Layer 2: A fleece or sweater to provide warmth and transfer moisture outwards.
Layer 3: A jacket to protect against outdoor conditions: rain, snow, and wind.
To eliminate moisture, the whole outfit must be breathable.
Will my pants withstand regular use over the long term?
To ensure the durability of our products, tests are conducted to measure: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colourfastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been carried out on the pants’ material.
How does my product warranty work?
This product is guaranteed for two years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear or improper use.
Our products’ environmental impact
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An ABCDE rating shows the environmental impact of a product. Put forward by ADEME, it takes into account production, transportation, usage, and waste generated at the end of a product’s life.
