Not actually waterproof. I used this bag to store some gear outside for a couple of weeks prior to deer season. It was exposed Fall weather in Canada. Water gets in. It's not actually waterproof. As a bag it's fine - but I wouldn't trust it to keep my gear dry as dry bag
in a canoe or hanging in a tree during a storm - so I can't recommend it.

Not using this to carry hunting trophies. It is acting as an extra, super strong bag for air travel when I don't want to have a big bag with me. Obviously it is strong and waterproof but the big thing about this particular bag for me is that it packs down so small. No damag
e after multiple flights. Not the best looking of bags but that isn't why you are buying it.

Great for carrying or transporting deer in (roe deer for me) keeps flys out and off waterproof easy to clean …. Only negative I can think of if i had to would be the strap can dig in when carrying if its just yourself if there is two of use then the carry handle at each sid
