Waterproof and slightly breathable. These did start to wet a little after a long day hiking in heavy rain with them, but this is inevitable in such conditions with similar products, they are meant for runs. Very good value for money, zips useful. Ideal in the kit for running,

Great tailored fit and are comfortable, my only criticism would be the zips at the ankles could do with being slightly longer to aid getting them on and off .

For the price they are great. Waterproof lightweight easily packable. Race compliant if that is a requirement. In hindsight, I would maybe go up a size for greater manoeuvrability. You would pay considerably more from a top brand for the same product.
