To find out how breathable a fabric is, you measure resistance to evaporative transfer (RET). This refers to the fabric’s capacity to expel the water vapour created by the body during exercise, thus preventing the accumulation of moisture on the skin. The lower the RET value, the more breathable the fabric. This neck warmer has a RET of 4.85.
