Falls off backpack 500

I bought this to match with the backpack 500. The hooks that attach to the backpack straps constantly disconnect. I bend down to net a fish, one side falls off. I tie my shoes, it falls off. I move too roughly down a trail, it falls off. Really disappointed since otherwise
it's a good product. I may try to modify it to have a better connection using small carabiners or something, but I shouldn't have to.
