bad design for people with oval heads

this bike helmet felt unsafe on my head. it is possible to adjust the tightness around the head, and you can adjust the length of the chin strap but there is no way to adjust the "forehead" strap. it was too long for me, so when I did the "does the helmet stay on my head witho
ut the straps bending over"test in the shop all seemed fine, but the over long (for me) forehead strap meant that on the first bump, no matter how adjusted the helmet around my head or under my chin, slipped to the nape of my neck. Incredibly the chin strap and the other straps connecting to the helmet are sewn together. no ability to adjust. I'm not saying this is a dangerous helmet for those with the right head shape and height of head, but for me it was an impossible situation.

The helmet feels nice, but after a couple of months of use, the back safety retainer broke. It is very thin and flimsy. Besides the fact that the helmet is not usable any more, it makes you wonder how safe this helmet is.

Plastic broke before I had a chance to wear it!

Firstly, if you are Asian with a big head 58-59cm and you are looking for round fit or Asian fit helmets TRY THIS ONE. I have tried sizes L/XL Specialized Camber, Align II, Fox Speedframe/Mainframe, Giro Fixture, BBB Dune and Bontrager Circuit and all of them were too narrow.
The only exception was the Camber XL which fit width ways but was far too long length ways. This helmet looks okay, weight isn’t the lightest with the extra MIPS layer but at £55 it’s a good price. The white stripe on the back of the helmet is just a wonky sticker. I peeled mine of. There’s a light mount on the back but I’ll never use it. Could do with some more padding on the inside but the included is adequate. One odd thing - where the chin strap meets the ear loop, they are stitched together. This prevents you from adjusting the ear loop forwards/backwards. I managed to remove the stitching as I need to adjust the loop more forwards. The ear loop length is also non adjustable but it just goes over my ears, might not for other people though.
