I am surprised that such a useful technology as photochromatics is not used in a wider model range. I am surprised there's only rose color for that. I am surprised only cycling glasses are using it. I am surprised there's no polarisation filtering along with the photochromatic
s. I bought these initially for driving a car AND riding a bike AND just for being in the open air. Had to buy an extra Cat.3 polarized glasses to now keep two pairs in my car. Photochrome tech wouldn't actually work while you are in the car, at least if your car has a roof ;-) The lens require direct sunlight for the tint to go darker. When going out in the street I feel weird in these glasses, because they are BIG even on my face. I would be more likely to buy something like MH500 glasses with the photochormatic lens. Still for riding a bike the glasses work well and do in fact well adapt to the sunlight. Yet their maximum is on Cat.3 level, so maybe it will not be enough for you, especially in sprint/autumn when the road is often wet, since these glasses do not have polarisation filters.

I have the Van Rysel Perf 500 photochromic glasses from Decathlon, and they're excellent providing great clarity, and comfort and they look great too.

Ces verres semblent doté d'un prisme qui fait apparaître en triple tout point lumineux un peu vif. En plein jour, je suis occasionnellement gêné par certains reflets... mais quand tombe le soir, si je roule en ville, je me retrouve éblouis par une farandole de points lumineu
x (réverbères, feu des voitures...) qui se déplacent de tous les côtés : cela devient très gênant, limite dangereux. Je me demande s'il s'agit d'un défaut de conception général ou d'un défaut de fabrication de ma paire.
