While I can't speak to longevity, having only used it twice but it dealt well with single speed (3/32) chains, holding the chain in place firmly and the pin moved smoothly without any bending. A bit weighty so you wouldn't want to carry it around with you, but good and solid f

used it to break 3 chains with no problem before the pin fell off with the fourth. tried attaching it back with superglue but to no avail because of the design of the tool. i’m now using a similarly shaped but longer piece of metal haphazardly placed where the original pin sho
uld be to continue using the tool… not exactly ergonomic. not sure if it was just a bad product out of an otherwise good batch but would not recommend due to my experience with durability issues… you get what you pay for i suppose

Purchased this as it is compatible with one speed all the way to the current twelve speed chain for my workshop. The spindle does not just press on the rivet in fact it drives it out, making the chain not damaged in the process of sizing it. The slot for the chain to rest on i
s sufficient for even one speed and the twelve speed as advertised but need to be careful when aligning the pin to the metal guide and the rivet to avoid damaging components. For the price, this chain breaker does its job and able to accept all single and current multi geared chains.

Très bon dérive chaine, bien ajusté et ergonomique, semble solide jusqu’ici. On pourra seulement regretter l’absence d’embout remplaçable en cas de casse de celui ci.
