Excellent bike for the price. I just abused it for a week in Utah. I'll probably upgrade to bigger tires and a better derailleur when I wear out the current ones, but no complaints as is. Shifts well, good brakes. Substantially less money then similarly equipped bikes at oth

er stores.

Awesome bike, especially for the price!

I have had 6 mountain bikes to date; this is #7 and by far the best. I am enjoying singletrack like never before. I bought my AM100S in Spring of 2020 so have had almost 4 seasons of riding and find it fast and stable on downhils and yet it climbs nicely too. I was worried whe

n I bought it so kept my hardtail for a year, but never wanted to ride it again so sold it. Absolutely no regrets!

I've rode this bike on paved pathways, single tracks and some downhill - the control, braking and suspension are excellent, especially for the price. This bike is very well built and very good value.

Weird geometry
MIHAIL

Despite the bike having the potential of being very capable, Team Decathlon designed the bike as unisex. This resulted in a good women's bike in s/m sizes, but a relatively short reach bike with an enormous seat tube in the L and especially XL sizes. In XL size the stack is al

so strangely big. It is like the L and XL sizes are made for people with extremely long legs and a short torso. Guys with normal proportions will not be able to fully extend the 150mm dropper post in L/XL sizes They tried to improve the perceived reach putting a long 60 mm stem, but what they should have done is actually slightly redesign it, to have shorter seat tube in L/XL, similar with the medium size, and shorten the stack in the XL size, similar to L Geometry-wise this bike is a mess Also: Crank arms are also too long.165/165/170/170 would have been better, especially with the 30t chainring. Are those SRAM SX crank arms power spline?

Extremely affordable full suspension bike
John

It would be hard to find a comparable full suspension bike to this with similar equipment at $500 more and they are also not in stock anywhere. Quality of build it’s great. Would prefer the AM 100 S to this or GX components for another few hundred. Not happy that the r

ims are tubeless ready but the tires are not. Decathlon doesn’t have a good selection of tires for this bike in Canada. Would have liked to see a remote for the suspension. Absolutely zero useful manuals or instructions for this model. I found some on the French and UK sites but it’s ridiculous that Decathlon didn’t include these. Overall a great value for the money. If you are not a bike snob, this is a great deal.

Samuel

: 2 week or less

: fr_CA
