2-Seat Inflatable Kayak - KTI 100 Green

bought the kayak on June 6, for a family trip at a cottage in the Kawarthas the first week of August. 14 people including 6 young kids. We had 2 dinghies, a paddleboard and the kayak. All were great except the kayak; the floor had a major leak and would go flat in minutes.

It was never used, never hit the water. We went to the local CANADIAN TIRE and bought another inflatable kayak, it worked great. I have sent an email and am waiting to find out if I can get a refund on my never used kayak since it is past the 30-day warranty...

Good quality and seviceability

I love my kayak. I enjoy using it in a lake. It does, however, take a long time to dry. So I take it home in its bag, then open it again and leave it for 15 hours or so to dry.

Quick and easy to set up. Excellent quallity. I was very surprised as to the handling and stability. I would defenetly buy this product again. Fits back into the storage bag with ease every time.

ayak when you touch it) , you can inflate the whole kayak and the seat in around 5-10mins. 15mins Tops you are on the water depending on how fast you want to get in :P As soon as I unfolded it for the first time I could see the build was strong and so far it is working great. Perfect size for one 5'10" (180cm) / 83kg (183lb) person. Lots of space for your stuff. Although according to the product specs, it would not allow for 2 persons of the same weight as it is supposed to allow a max weight of onlu y 150kg (331lb) but haven't tested it yet with two persons in it. It looks and feels super sturdy and stable though. Love the tough fabric feel and the colours of the exterior shell. It comes with 2 bottom back and 1 bottom front detachable ailerons/fins for easier paddling and direction. It comes with a basic repair kit just in case. Tip: The user Manual comes in the exterior pouch of the Kayak bag, which is the black bottom part of the bag, it has velcro. Only thing I noticed is I feel it stirs direction a bit to the sides when you paddle, depending on how you paddle, but maybe that is just me. But no biggie. I consider this a beginners or casual kayak. And was the best I found out there after a bit of research for its size, price and quality. The bag to carry the kayak is a bit bigger to let you fit in your PFD/Lifesaver, the Nautical Safety Kit, the pump and the four piece kayak paddle and you will still have space to put in a bit more stuff. Tip: The bag with only the kayak in is supposed to weight around 14kg (30lb), so it is practical to carry the bag with a fold-up cart which you can then take with you in the kayak :P (if only one person will use it, haven't tried this with 2 persons) Consider this kayak is only rated for short trips and 300 m from shore according to the user manual. Conclusion I love it, happy with it, perfect size and quality and it does the job to have a good time on the water and relax / enjoy the view.
